John A LaFortune

John A LaFortune, born on April 18, 1955, in Leominster, MA, resided in Gardner, Massachusetts, until his passing on August 13, 2026. Though John never married or held formal employment, he lived a life rich in experiences and relationships. As a young man, he found joy in the great outdoors, spending many hours hunting and fishing. No matter the activities he pursued, what mattered most to John was his family. He treasured the time spent with his loved ones, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his sister, Linda Page and her husband David, and his nephews, Nathan Cali and Jonah Cali. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Laura LaFortune. Calling hours will be held at Mack Family Funeral Homes, Gardner Chapel, located at 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA, on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 9:30 -10:30 am. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at St. Dennis Cemetery, 91 Kelton Road, Ashburnham, Massachusetts, at 12:15 pm.
