Jessica L. Caldwell

Sep 11, 1986 — Aug 30, 2026

Athol

Born September 11, 1986 in Rolla, MO, Jessica Lynn Caldwell grew up in Springfield, MO. Jessica’s love for animals came at an early age, helping her family with their horse training business. She herself would go on to participate in Tennessee Walking Horse shows, earning several awards. Jessica would make the journey to Massachusetts, settling in Athol, settling down with her companion, Andrew.

Jessica loved to bake and to cook. She enjoyed experimenting with cooking, often creating her own new dishes rather than following a recipe. Her creativity extended to her fuse bead creations, beautiful artwork she would make for friends and family. Jessica loved music of all genres, and enjoyed competitive video games like League of Legends.

Jessica was stubborn at times, snarky too, but above all, she had a good heart. She cared deeply for her friends and family, and despite not being an extroverted person, she cared about people she’d never met before. She would donate when she could, buy a meal for someone in need, and bake for people she didn’t even know. She loathed surprises, but loved surprising others with thoughtful gifts. She loved animals, especially her cats. Her thoughtfulness and kindness once included taking in a stray that would become part of her family.

After fighting Congestive Heart Failure for seven years Jessica passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026, surrounded by people who love her. She is survived by her adoring parents, Curt and Mary Caldwell, and her devoted companion, Andrew Currie. Jessica's life was a testament to the profound beauty of a heart that loves deeply, and she will be greatly missed.

Every life is a story. Jessica's time on this world may mark the end of one chapter, but her story lives on through the people she loved, and who love her.
