Samantha M. Carlson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Samantha Mae Carlson was born March 25, 1989. She died peacefully on May 23 2022, as she lost her fight against her mental health illnesses. Samantha was a vibrant, loving, giving, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She loved doing arts and crafts, fishing and kayaking. Samantha had a way of making you laugh till you couldn’t breathe. She would be the first to help you in times of trouble or need and could keep a secret like a vault! She was fiercely loyal and the hole she leaves behind Is as big and deep as her love for others. Sammy was a devoted bird lover and had 4 feather babies, Pogo, Chester, Gilligan, and Skipper. Although we are saddened at the loss of our Sammy, we are comforted in knowing that she is in the arms of our savior Jesus. Her pain has ended and her eternity has just begun. Samantha is survived by her mother Christine Carlson, her father Christopher Carlson, her older sisters Candace Carlson McGrath, Rebecca Carlson DuVarney, and her brother-in-laws Mark McGrath and Brendon DuVaney, her nieces Ariza McGrath and Rheanna McGrath Argollo, her nephews Micah, Zachariah, Jeremiah, Nehemiah McGrath and Esias DuVarney. She was especially close with her cousin Courtney Linstad. Candace and Rebecca will be giving a word in honor of Samantha, Please arrive promptly at 6pm.
