Yvonne M. Soucie

Yvonne M. (Doiron) Soucie was born in Athol on June 17, 1936, the daughter of Emile and Zelica (Johnson) Doiron. 

She attended Athol Schools and graduated form Athol High School in 1954.

Yvonne wed the love of her life, Leon Soucie on July 10, 1954 and they were married for 44 years until his death on April 12, 1998.

She worked as a playground supervisor at Sanders Street School for 12 years. She also worked as a secretary/ assistant manager for the Regal Engineering, Inc for 20 years. She enjoyed puzzles and playing scrabble with her sister Lee.

Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, her husband, her infant daughter, Cindy Anne Soucie, her brothers, Reane Doiron,  Everett Doiron, Yvon Doiron, Donald Doiron, Gerald Doiron, sisters, Leola Hereford, Lorraine Thompson, her sister-in-laws, Ester Soucie, Betty Soucie and Carole Doiron.

She is survived by her foster son/nephew, Raymond Doiron and a grandson, Lenart Doiron and her brother-in-law, David Soucie

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 9:30AM at Mack Family Funeral Homes, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange, MA.

Her Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Fielding Way, Athol, MA.

A Celebration of life will follow the burial at North Quabbin Veteran's Center, 72 Freedom St., Athol, MA. Parking is available in the front and rear entrance of the Veteran's center.
