With a heart full of compassion and a spirit filled with resilience, Nan E. (Graham) Martin took her final bow on May 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Miami, Florida, on February 4, 1951, she was the daughter of the late John Graham and Elizabeth (Moore) Graham. Nan married her beloved husband, Leo R. Martin, on June 29, 1991, and shared 41 years together before he unexpectedly passed away on October 5, 2017. Nan was a graduate of Narragansett Regional High School in Templeton. Later on, she still enjoyed traveling with Bob but closer to home for the occasional trip to Foxwoods. Later on in her retirement, she enjoyed getting her nails done, reading, watching her “stories,” and camping at Peaceful Pines in Templeton.
Nan will be sadly missed by her son Shawn Graham and his wife Diana of Templeton, two daughters Carrie Ellis and her husband Jason of Orange and Michelle Weitknecht and her partner Matt of Templeton, two brothers Michael Graham and his wife Robin of Oregon, Jack Graham and his wife Michelle of Attleboro, four sisters Kathy Going of Leominster, Diane Amidon of Gardner, Jill Hendrickson and her husband Jay of Tennessee, Laurie Manty and her husband David of Phillipston, two brother-in-law’s Paul Martin and his companion Diane of Athol and Jack Kuehl and his wife Kate of Templeton, one sister-in-law Marcia Quattrociocchi and her husband Paul, nine grandchildren Lacey, Jami, Krista, Michael, Savy, Bobby, Karlee, Brayden and Gabe, three great-grandchildren Declan, Marley and Drake. Nan was the embodiment of the saying, “A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong she is until she's in hot water.” For those who knew her, Nan was a profoundly courageous woman who graced this world with her dedicated presence for 74 beautiful years.
