Pearl A. Howard, aged 98, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025. Born in Lynn, MA on September 8, 1926, Pearl was a compassionate, loyal and thoughtful woman who lived her life with immense grace and kindness. She was a beloved mother, friend and was known by many for her unwavering devotion to her family.
Pearl spent her formative years in Lynn, where she attended St. Mary's School. She later moved to New Hampshire, where she resided for 44 years before settling in Orange, in 2011. Pearl worked as an assembler in a manufacturing company until her retirement. Pearl was a wonderful cook, her delicious meals were the highlight of family gatherings and she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her loved ones.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Alice Roussin; her sisters, Alice and Marian and her daughter Elizabeth Chiappini.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Graham, who will forever cherish her memory; by five grandchildren, John, Jimmy, John, Scott and Joe; two great grandchildren, Jimmy and John and one great great granddaughter, Audrey.
Pearl's life was a testament to her strong spirit and her unwavering faith. Her kindness, her loyalty, and her thoughtfulness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 11 am to 12 pm at Mack Family Funeral Homes, Athol-Orange Chapel, located at 110 New Athol Rd., Orange. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the same location. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
Pearl's life will be celebrated and remembered by all those whose lives she touched.
