William Roy Allen December 7, 1952 – April 29, 2025

William Roy Allen, 72, of Gardner, MA, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Framingham, MA on December 7, 1952, to Nellie and William Allen, Bill lived a full and joyful life marked by dedication, laughter, and deep love for his family and community. He was a proud and loyal employee of McDonald’s, where he worked as a manager for over 40 years, earning the respect and friendship of countless colleagues and customers. During his retirement, Bill enjoyed working part-time at Gardner Ten Pins.

Bill had a lifelong passion for bowling and soccer. He was a longtime member of the Friday Night Classic League at Gardner Ten Pins and remained an avid soccer player well into his 70s, playing with the local "Over the Hill" soccer league—a true testament to his spirit and energy. Bill was also a former member of Two Hearts As One square dancing club in Gardner, MA holding many offices while enjoying dancing with his favorite dance partner, Paula. The only thing that brought Bill more joy than anything was attending his son and grandson’s soccer games and bowling tournaments.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Paula Allen (Quarella); his son, William Allen; his daughter-in-law, Amy Allen; and his cherished grandsons, Bradley, Tanner, Carter, and Beckett Allen, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride. Bill is also survived by his brother-in-law John Quarella (Cindy), sister-in-law Kathy Keyworth, sister-in-law Denise Nordman (Wayne), and sister-in-law Suann Chapman (Tom).
