Gardner- Thomas Henry Meany, 60, of Gardner, MA , died Sunday, March 22, at UMass Medical Center after being stricken at home. Thomas was born August 30, 1959, son of John W. and Elizabeth E. (Blake) Meany. He graduated from Gardner High School in 1977. Thomas worked for Digital for many years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and its dart league. He enjoyed watching his brothers drive race cars at Monadnock Speedway. Besides his parents, John and Elizabeth Meany, he leaves his daughter, Serena Meany, stepdaughter, Maggie Richards, stepson, Ian Levasseur, his companion, Loreen Amadon; four brothers, John W. Meany Jr. and wife, Diane, William J. Meany and wife, Carolyn, Philip A. Meany and companion, Janet Baczewski, David B. Meany and wife, Noreen; his aunt, Rita Madden; nephew and nieces, John W. Meany III and wife Angela, Megan Meany and Leah Meany; great nieces, Sophia and Aubree Meany. Funeral services will be announced in the future. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Mack Family Funeral Homes, Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Chapel, 105 Central St., Gardner is assisting the family.
