Therese (Broadbent) Baca

LEOMINSTER- Therese (Broadbent) Baca, 88, of Leominster, died Friday, October 21, in Leominster Hospital, after a short illness. She was born May 3, 1928, in Lowell, daughter of the late James and Matilda (St. Germain) Broadbent. Mrs. Baca was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Parish. She worked for the former Cluet & Peabody Shirt Company for 23 years. She then worked for DuPont and Milor until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, crosswords and gardening. She especially enjoyed cruises and traveling to many destinations with her husband, Bennie Baca, who predeceased her. She is survived by her niece and caregiver , Dolly Charpentier and her husband, Denis and their children, Craig Charpentier, Kelly Pelkey and her husband, Shawn, and Karri LeGault and her husband, Dave, nieces, Rita Kinsella, and Lori Gaglia; nephew, Greg Picucci; sister in law, Rena Picucci; many great nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held Wednesday, October 26, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St. Leominster. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM in Holy Family of Nazareth Church 750 Union St. Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery.
