Surrounded by the love of her family and the many memories she created throughout her life, we celebrate and honor Susan M. Page, who passed away on May 16th, surrounded by her adoring children.
Born on August 1, 1950, in Athol, Massachusetts, Susan lived her life with unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and the passions she loved most. A graduate of Athol High School, Susan spent more than 30 years working at Erving Paper Mill, where she built lifelong friendships through her dedication and hard work. Susan embraced life with adventure and happiness, spending her days reading, completing crossword puzzles, traveling, and camping with her husband Bill and the many friends they made at Green Gate Camp in Exeter, New Hampshire — a place that brought her peace and happiness. She also loved cooking for those around her and found joy in bringing family and friends together.
Susan found her greatest happiness in the time she shared with family and friends. She was a constant source of love, encouragement, and strength for her children: Glenn Mallet Jr. and his partner Michelle Brooks; Kristan Mallet and her spouse JJ Tanguay; and Kate Pesa and her husband Damir. She also leaves behind her stepchildren, William Page Jr. and his wife, Diane, and Micki Page, along with her beloved grandchildren, Hillary, Molly, Benjamin, Alex, Maya, Jack, Ruby, and Cooper, and great-grandchildren Rowan, Bailey, Calliope, and Thalia, all of whom brought immense pride and joy to her life. Susan also held a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister, Kathy Praplaski, and her brother, Patrick Murphy, along with their families, all of whom she dearly loved. Susan leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, compassion, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Susan was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Nancy Murphy; her beloved husband, William Sr.; her brothers Michael and Danny; and her grandson, Garrett.
