Susan Mary Doucette, a long-time resident of Athol, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on May 22, 2025. Born to Mary and Edward Moore on October 27, 1956, in Leominster, MA, Susan was a loving, generous, and supportive soul whose compassion and kindness were felt by all who knew her.

Susan was a beacon of warmth and love, always putting others before herself. Her life was a testament to the depth of her love for her family, particularly her cherished children and grandchildren. Susan was blessed with a large, loving family; her joy was immeasurable when they gathered for summer cookouts, camping trips, and family holidays. Listening to music and singing karaoke were her favorite pastimes. She was also known for her extremely kind and caring heart.

Susan is survived by her devoted children Amanda, Shannon, Bernard III, Lee, Kenneth, Donna, Tammy, Eddie, and Ashley; her sisters June, Debra, and Sandra; and her brother Edward. Grandchildren; Kylie, Zakk, Corey, Nick, Logan, Brandon, Victoria, Jake, Alex, Mikaela, Jordan and Autumn. Lifelong best friend Rene Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mary Moore, her three sisters; Carol, Paula, and Teri. granddaughter; Skylar. Her beloved husband of 40 years Bernard Doucette Jr., and her children Jamie and Crystal.

Susan was a hard worker in the truest sense, dedicating her life to nurturing her family and creating a home filled with love and happiness not only for her children and grandchildren but also for many family members and friends.

As we remember Susan, we are reminded of her loving spirit, her generous heart, and her unwavering support. She leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will continue to inspire and guide us. The Doucette family thanks everyone for their support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers they ask to please make a donation in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association or directly to the Mack Family Funeral home in Gardner, Massachusetts towards funeral expenses.
