Sinclair R. Blaser,

Sinclair R. Blaser, Jr. Athol – Sinclair R. Blaser, Jr., 77, of 259 Flat Rock Road, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Quabbin Valley Healthcare.      He was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, September 15, 1935, the son of Sinclair and Pauline (Sharkins) Blaser.    He grew up in Athol, attending Athol schools.  He worked at the L.S. Starrett Company for 20 years as a toolmaker, and had worked for the Town of Athol for four years.  Sinclair loved animals, antiques and all collectables.      He leaves his wife of 55 years, Jacqueline (King) Blaser; a son Rand Blaser of  Fayetteville, NC; a daughter, Sharon Clark of Athol; one granddaughter, Jillian Clark; two sisters, Clair Blaser and Joyce Paquet, both of Athol and a nephew, Scott Abbott of Quilcene, WA.        At Sinclair’s request no formal funeral services are planned.  Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol is handling the arrangements.  For further information or to share a memory with the family go to:  www.higginsoconnorfuneralhome.com.     $(document).ready(function(){ });
