Shaun was also affectionately known to others as Sherm, Big Worm, Perm, Big Perm, the Shermanator , the General, and Tank. Shaun was a beacon of patience, kindness, and generosity, an incredible friend, devoted husband, and an extraordinary father. His legacy resounds in his unyielding kindness, selflessness, his unfaltering hard work, his unwavering determination, his iron will, and his valiant fighting spirit.

Shaun is survived by his beloved wife, the love of his life, Sarah Sherman, whom he was proud to share seven wonderful years and married in the year 2023, daughters, Emma Sherman and Gabriella Ward, and sons, Nicholas Sherman and Kamdyn Ward. In his professional life, Shaun spent over twenty years with Garlock Printing and Converting holding many positions of importance, and serving many customers across the United States. Shaun served as an Assistant Bar manager at the Athol American Legion Post 102. One of his most notable accomplishments was his tireless work in bringing the Athol Little League field back to life, a testament to his unwavering dedication to his community and youth sports.

Shaun enjoyed the simple pleasures of riding his Harley, riding alongside the members of The American Legion Riders Post 102, the comforting crackle of a fire, sharing beers with friends, and spending time with his cherished dogs Maverick and Shelby. He deeply believed in supporting veterans, helping those in need and nurturing the vitality of youth sports, causes close to his heart. His enduring advice to all was to remain determined, not take things too personal, to let things go, and his favorite quote "it is what it is", a mantra that drove his own actions and successes, and an outlook that contributed to his reputation.
