We remember the life of Ryan Alyn White, affectionately known as Whitey, Turtleboy, or Squints to family and friends.
Born on August 17, 1999, in Gardner, MA, Ryan was a charismatic soul who lived his life with infectious humor and a loving heart. He was a beacon of light in every room, spreading laughter and joy wherever he went.
Ryan had a courageous, adventurous spirit and a deep love for the outdoors. He was passionate about hunting, fishing, and dirt biking, and had a special connection with animals — often taking in and caring for various critters along the way. Every day he lived life to the fullest with no regrets.
What mattered most to Ryan was providing endless love to his friends and family. His untamed spirit and funny antics were the heart of many gatherings, making each moment spent with him a memorable one. Ryan is survived by his father, Kevin; mother, Christy; brother, Kyle (Grace); paternal grandmother Barbara; maternal grandmother Donna (Bill) LaFord; step-grandmother Deborah Guyer; aunt Kelly (Alan) Mailloux; uncles Justin (Kerri) Guyer, Bill (Heidi) White, Eric (Tanya) Seppa; many cousins, and countless friends. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, William; maternal grandfather, Steven Guyer; and uncle, Craig White.
Ryan will be remembered at the Mack Family Funeral Homes, Athol-Orange Chapel, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 9 am - 12 pm, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol.
We invite you to join us to celebrate Ryan's vibrant life and share your cherished memories of him at www.mackfamilyfh.com. To honor Ryan’s welcoming heart, we encourage everyone to come as you are and dress casually and comfortably.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Massachusetts Birds of Prey Rehabilitation Center, P.O. Box 26, Conway, MA 01341.
