Robert Edmund Antil "Bob", 76, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2023 after a short illness. He was born in Gardner, Massachusetts on January 23, 1947 and was the son of the late Edmund and Gertrude (Ducharme) Antil.

Bob was known for his zest for life and sense of humor. His adventurous spirit was the guiding force of his life, which he happily lived on his own terms. He grew up in South Ashburnham and was a 1965 graduate of Oakmont Regional High School. In his youth while working at the Ashburnham Town Stables he developed a love for horses. He became an avid horseman and participated in competitive rodeo well into adulthood. He was a longtime member of Lunenburg Sportsman's Club where he enjoyed archery and shooting. He also enjoyed collecting guns, trips to the casino and traveling to Florida and Aruba.

He is survived by his daughter Tammy Aubuchon and her husband Christopher of Vermont and their children Jacob Barrett and his wife Emily, Meghan Aubuchon, Ethan Aubuchon, Alex Aubuchon and Gabriel Aubuchon; his daughter Lisa Mason and her husband Gregg of Fitchburg and their son Justin Mason; His step children whom he loved as his own Debbie Caissie of Canada and her children Scott, Wayne, and Kevin Caissie; Linda Gallant of Ashburnham and her son Bruce Gallant and his wife Kristina of Winchendon and their children Emma, Elaina, Brock and Kendall; Stephen Gallant and his wife Rhonda of North Carolina and their children Tyler Gallant and his wife Haley and Colby Gallant; his sister Phyllis Gaudet and her partner Michael Kelley of Colorado and his beloved nieces all from Colorado Leslie Kairys and her husband Jordan and their children Rory and Silas; Ashley Gaudet and her son Coleton; and Haylee Orander and her husband Luke and their children Owen, Olivia, Eli, and Emmett. He was preceded in death by his stepson Randy Gallant, his brother Richard Antil, and his brother-in-law Richard Gaudet.

The funeral mass for Robert will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Mechanic Street, Leominster, Massachusetts, 01453. He will be laid to rest at St. John’s Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, Massachusetts, 01440, at 11:45 AM.
