Richard E. Marion, lovingly known as "Dick" to family and friends, departed this life on February 17, 2024. Born on January 6, 1938, in Gardner, Massachusetts. His life was marked by a generous spirit and a thoughtful heart – qualities that endeared him to all who knew him. Richard was a dedicated man, steadfast in his commitments to his family, his work, and his community.

Richard served his country with pride as a member of the Air Force for four years. After his military service, he found his calling in the furniture industry. He was a man of many passions. His love for the great outdoors was evident in the meticulous care with which he tended to his yard. Away from work, he found joy in the simplicity of Polka dancing with his wife, Norma, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Patriots and Notre Dame. He cherished trips to Florida visiting family each year. His love for his family was his guiding light.

Richard leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. He is survived by his loving wife, Norma; his daughters, Brenda Fenton and Debora Malone; his stepchildren, Linda Vancleave and Peter Bourgeois and wife Kathy; and his sister, Lorraine Foley and husband Frank. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and a cherished uncle to two nieces and one nephew. Richard was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Marion, and his parents, Emery and Mary Jane Marion.

Richard's life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and generosity. He will be remembered not just for the things he did, but more importantly, for the person he was – a loving husband, a dedicated father and grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and a generous friend. As we mourn his loss and celebrate his life, we encourage you to share your memories and upload photos to Richard's memorial page. Let us come together to remember and honor the life of Richard Marion.
