Richard C. Beyette Petersham – Richard C. “Dickie” Beyette, 56, began his soar with the eagles after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at his home.      Richard was born June 1, 1956, in Athol, Massachusetts, the son of Robert D. Beyette, Sr. and Edna (Flagg) Thomson.  He lived in Phillipston most of his life and since 2003 has resided in Petersham.  Richard worked in many area wood shops and cleared wood lots for cord wood.  He later became one of the finest auto body technicians, especially enjoying many classic car restorations.  Richard loved working around the home and also spending time with his wife and his two cats, Noah and Rose.        Richard leaves his wife and best friend Sharon A. (Puliafico) Beyette; his mother, Edna Thomson of Petersham; a daughter, Angela Moriarty and her husband Pat of Cottage Grove, MN; granddaughters, Amanda and Melinda Moriarty; his sisters, Marilyn Lehoux of Gardner and Christine Martin and her husband Michael of Savannah, GA; a brother, Robert D. Beyette, Jr. of Salcha, AK. He also leaves his extended family, his brother-in-laws, David and Sammy Puliafico of Hardwick; sister-in-law, Paulette Lawrence and her husband Jeff of Southbridge; nieces, Julie Towlson of Hardwick and her daughter Deena;  Jennifer and Mike Bujnevicie and their children, Jacoby and Ella and a nephew Derrick Lawrence of Gardner and his daughter Haley and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father Robert in 1979.      At Richard’s request there are no services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol is directing arrangements.  For further information or to share a memory with the family go to: www.higginsoconnorfuneralhome.com.       $(document).ready(function(){ });
