Randy Sumner

Leominster-Randy Sumner, 61, died Saturday, September 17, 2022 after a sudden illness. 

He leaves his daughter, Jessica Sumner and her fiance, Josh Weston of Leominster; his son, Shawn Sumner and his wife April of Norwood; two granddaughters, Eva Miller and Evelyn Weston both of Leominster; three brothers, Wayne Sumner of Ashburnham, Bryan Sumner and his fiance, Kara of Leominster, and Gary Sumner of FL; one sister, Darlene Sumner-Saunders of FL; several nieces and nephews and his former wife, Pamela (Seamans)  Sumner of Leominster. 

Randy is predeceased by a granddaughter, Czarina Miller and his good friend Ed Fahey.

He was born in Leominster on April 11, 1961, a son of the late Darrell and Maryann (Bracani) Sumner. He was a graduate of Leominster High School. He worked as a machinist and construction.  He was always a hard working man his whole life until he was disabled. 

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching football. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and his daughter was his best friend. 

Calling hours will be on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. in the Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, Leominster, MA 01453.

There will be a prayer service at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. 

Burial will be private.
