Peter P. Gartland

ATHOL - Peter P. Gartland, Sr., 69 of 821 Daniel Shays Hwy, Athol, died Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. He was born in Chelsea, MA, on November 26, 1952, the son of the late Vincent Gartland and Dorothy Gartland. Peter was educated in Stoneham, MA. He was employed as a Custodian at Philips Exeter Academy. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He leaves a son, Peter Gartland, Jr.; one daughter, Donnamarie Anne Tortorici; two brothers, Vincent Gartland, Richard Gartland; one sister, Eleanor Gartland; four grandchildren, Joshua Gartland, Ryan Tortorici,Kylie Tortorici, Ronan Mahoney and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Marilyn Armstrong, and Dorothy Triottier.
