Pearl A. Livingston

September 12, 1926 — February 9, 2022

TEMPLETON - Pearl A. (Gonyeo) Livingston, 95 of Templeton, died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in her own home after a long brave battle with dementia. She was born in Gardner, on September 12, 1926, the daughter of the late Stanley Gonyeo and the late Mary (Collins) Gonyeo. Pearl grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School. She was a devout catholic and a member of Holy Cross Church in E. Templeton. Pearl was first and foremost a loving mother and homemaker to 13 children. She loved to read books and enjoyed walking to the library. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, loved music and was quite a dancer. She was a fighter, strong willed and very feisty. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She leaves seven daughters, Patricia Gallant and her husband Mel of Gardner, Debra M. LaFlamme of Fitchburg, Cynthia E. MacDonald of Florida, Kathleen Livingston of Fitchburg, Veronica J. Chadbourne and her husband Butch of Phillipston, Angela M. Dora and her husband Dan of Templeton, Julie Severance and her husband Brian of Warwick; five sons, Edward M. Livingston and his wife Dianne of Texas, Daniel J. Livingston of Washington; Joseph E. Livingston and his wife Sharon of Florida, Peter J. Livingston and his wife Patty of California, Stephen Livingston and his wife Cindy of California; two sisters, Sheila Forget of Gardner, Shirley Arsenault of California; nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Elmer Livingston, by her son, Brian J. Livingston and by two sisters, two brothers and one granddaughter. A special thank you to all moms’ caregivers, Ruby and Dianne and many others who helped us to keep our mom at home, we couldn’t have done it without you. Mom, thank you for everything you sacrificed for us. You did an incredible job raising us. We love you mom, until we meet again. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 am in Holy Cross Church, 26 Lake Ave., East Templeton. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Boynton Public Library, 27 Boynton Road, Templeton, MA 01468.
