Noella M. Boutelle

December 25, 1928 — February 22, 2023

Athol

ATHOL- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Noella M. (Duguay) Boutelle on February 22, 2023 at the age of 94.  Noella passed peacefully with loving family at her side.

She was a Christmas child born on December 25, 1928.  Preceding her were her parents, Ulric and Sarah (Cormier) Duguay, and her siblings, Bella, George, Rita, William, Bertha, Felix, Norman, Rena, Virgil, and Albert.

She leaves behind her sister-in-law Arline Duguay, 13 nephews and 7 nieces, several great nephews and great nieces, with special mention of her great niece Janine Constant, as well as many dear friends.

Noella was a forever young spirit whose love touched many of us. She filled her life with family and friends, always on the go. Noella was an extraordinary presence throughout our lives. She provided comfort and care to all her siblings and raised many generations of her family, from her nephews and nieces, which extend to their children and those children's children, as well as fur babies. In her life, she loved and laughed.  Each member of her family and friends has many cherished, humorous stories involving Noella.  She was an artist both in crafts and baking. She demonstrated her many skills in Quilling, plastic canvas, ceramics, egg carving and decorating, and cake decorating resulting in gifts much treasured by those who received them.

Noella was truly a special lady full of love for everyone around her. The time she spent with you, would leave you feeling exceptional. Her passion and caring extended to animals, especially any in need.

Noella was an avid backyard birdwatcher and church goer. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots and those small moments with a good conversation over tea.

Ninety-four years wasn't enough time. May her playful soul shine on. We will miss you and will remember you in each laugh and in those quiet moments when your memory visits us.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses who kindly cared for Noella in her final days.
