Athol

ATHOL- Nathan Hanshaw, 31, of Athol, died unexpectedly on August 21, 2022, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was born on August 8, 1991, in Worcester, Massachusetts. He attended Athol elementary schools until his family decided to leave Athol to live in Worcester. Nathan had a great love for nature. He loved going camping with his family and enjoyed fishing, swimming, and sitting by the campfire. In his adult years, he gained quite an interest in electronics, computers, and the different available software. Nathan had experiences that most kids did not, enabling him to study different things and obtain his GED. He was an avid computer nerd. He could never learn enough to work with computers. It became his world, essentially becoming his lifetime career, he made a living and was happy doing it.

Nathan leaves his parents, Lawrence J and Elizabeth MJ Hanshaw Jr. of Athol; a paternal grandmother Sandra F (Savage) Hanshaw of Athol; Nathan was close to his two aunties  Anne Hanshaw and Sandra (Hanshaw) Bezio, both of Athol; four uncles, Richard Bezio, Eric Hanshaw, and his two daughters Carlee and Colby, Thaddeus and his son Thaddeus, and Michael Britt all of Athol; as well as two cousins whom he was very close with, Lisa Woodard and Lawrence Hanshaw (LJ).

Nathan was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Lawrence J. Hanshaw Sr. of Athol in 1999; his maternal grandparents, Thaddeus J. and Elizabeth Luszey; his baby brother, Jeremy Lj Hanshaw in 2016. God put his hand out and lead Nathan to his brother, never to be apart again.
