Matthew Goguen

The youngest of seven children, Matthew Raymond Goguen, died at 33 on the 24 th of February 2023. He
was born on 18 September 1989 in Ashburnham, Massachusetts. All his family adored him. From an
early age, he loved physical activity and enjoyed the sports of basketball, baseball, and soccer and
excelled in football. He was an avid fisherman. Throughout his life, he was given much adversity as he
spoke his truth. He was a sincere and kind man. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and could
help his parents because of his physical strength. His best friend was his Australian Shepherd, Loki. He
was an avid reader and a painter by profession, and he enjoyed listening to over 600 books as he
worked. He leaves behind his parents Richard and Kristina Goguen, two brothers, Michael and Shane
Goguen, and three sisters, Angela Brown, Jennifer Miettinen, and Diana Yocom, along with several
nieces and nephews.
