Mary Florence Wilson

ATHOL-Mary Florence (Logan) (Mallette) Wilson, 94, died Monday, July 26, 2021 at Athol Memorial Hospital after an illness. She was the wife of the late Eugene L. Mallette and the late Warren C. Wilson. Mary leaves four children, Theresa Lozada of Ocala FL, Paul Mallette and his wife Rosemarie of Athol, Peter Mallette and his wife Priscilla of Royalston and Celeste Reppucci and her husband Richard of Phillipston; four grandchildren, Dr. Jason Mallette and his wife, Dr. Nathalia Doobay of Pawtucket, RI, Nicole Cutler and her husband Matthew of Chula Vista, CA, Dr. Andrea Farber and her husband Zack of Burlington and Benjamin Reppucci and his wife Jennifer of Seneca, SC and six great-grandchildren. She was born on August 9, 1926 in Arlington, a daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (Shea) Logan. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1944. She worked for Moskovitz Woman’s Shop for 30 year as seamstress. She worked at Starrett’s for 17 years in the inspection room until the early 90’s. She was a member of Our Lady Immaculate Church, a past president of the Athol AARP and she was a former board member and past president of the Golden Agers. Mary enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, traveling, sewing, classical music, dining out, witty "one-liners" and a good dessert. Her funeral will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, 11:00 am the Fiske-Murphy-Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA 01368. There will be a receiving period from 10:30 – 11:00 am prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol, MA.
