Lynda M. Tocci (Peg to some), 70, of Gardner, passed away Thursday, January 29th, surrounded by family and loved one,s following a sudden illness.
Born on August 1st, 1955, in Arlington, MA, Lynda was a remarkable woman who brought joy and laughter to everyone she encountered. Her resilience and loving nature were evident throughout her life, even in the face of adversity. Lynda was compassionate, funny, and had an undeniable zest for life that was infectious to all who were fortunate to know her.
Lynda was a woman of many talents and interests. Her love for the piano was evident in her role as the pianist at the Fifth Street Baptist Church, where her music touched many hearts. She also loved spending time by the ocean, reading, baking, and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends. Her home in Gardner, Massachusetts, was filled with warmth and laughter, where she enjoyed hosting loved ones.
Lynda is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Perron, son, Jeremey Lussier, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Catherine Perron, brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Laura Heyl, brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Socheath Heyl, and sister Lauren Heyl. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Mia and Ryan Perron, and Leah and Isabelle Lussier, as well as more loved ones than can be listed. She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Marjorie Heyl, and her beloved husband Richard Tocci.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4-6 pm at the Mack Family Funeral Home, Gardner Chapel, 105 Central St., Gardner. Burial will be private at a later date.
