Linda (Dolan) McCarthy

ASHBURNHAM- Linda M. (Dolan) McCarthy, 69, of Ashburnham, died Thursday, January 16, at UMass Medical Center, after an illness. Linda was born March 21, 1950, in Somerville, daughter of the late Charles J. and the late Mildred A. (Hutchinson) Dolan. She was a dental assistant before her retirement. She leaves her husband with whom she would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in May, Robert P. McCarthy; four sons, Robert McCarthy, Jr. and his wife, Kayla of VA, Kevin McCarthy of FL, Brian McCarthy of Ashburnham and Patrick McCarthy and wife, Melissa of Hubbardston; one daughter, Harmony Gilman and companion, Buddy Overstreet; ten grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Monday, January 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Mack Family Funeral Homes, a Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Chapel, 105 Central St., Gardner. The funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 21, at 11:30 A.M. at St. Denis Church, 85 Main St., Ashburnham. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon.
