Laura J. Berry Templeton – Laura J. (Hill) Berry, 74, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Legend Center in Gardner to reunite with her husband Richard W. Berry and their beloved son Richard Keith.      She was the daughter of George W. and Olive (Adams) Hill of Gardner.  She was predeceased by one brother, Robert B. Hill and a sister, Theresa Hill Boudreau.  Laura was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Gardner.      She leaves a son, Scott M. Berry, Sr. of East Templeton and a beloved grandson, Scott M. Berry, Jr. and his mother, Crystal Mallet of Baldwinville; a daughter, Robyn M. Parmenter and beloved granddaughter, Jamie Parmenter of Phillipston.  A beloved grandson, Kyle Richard Wetherby of Orange and two dearly loved great-grandsons, Ethan Richard Wetherby and Liam Paxton Wetherby.        Laura was educated in area schools, and earned a degree in science, practicing as a licensed Occupational Therapist for many years, in the private sector and state agencies for over 30 years.  She was a holder of many certificates of certification in Specialized Therapeutic Treatments.        She was an avid reader of many varied subjects, knitter of Irish knits, seamstress, herbal and photography.  Her hobby for many years was creating “living albums” of photos for her children and grandchildren.  She and her husband enjoyed traveling:  the favorite was the southwest and ruins of Mexico.      She also leaves a brother, George W. Hill, Jr., formerly of Keene and now residing in Templeton, sisters, Charlotte Hill Breton of Gardner and Joyce Hill Desolier of Winchendon; a sister-in-law, Virginia Berry Cormier and many nieces and nephews and special nieces and nephews.   She also leaves special friends; Olive Tovson of Tuson, AZ, the Rabbi Mitosh, Monsignor Stupaine and the Reverend Sami Shoo Wolf and of “the Southwestern Chief Multi Cultural Association.”        A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.  Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol is directing arrangements.  For further information or to share a memory with the family go to:  www.higginsoconnorfuneralhome.com.   $(document).ready(function(){ });
