Keith David Karkane

On his 57th birthday, November 15, 2025, Keith David Karkane of Westminster, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends. 

Born in Concord, Massachusetts, on November 15, 1968, to parents William and Dona Karkane, Keith was a man of exceptional integrity, character, and warmth. He was a loving husband to Karen Karkane, whom he married on August 21, 1999, and a devoted father to Laura, Kevin, and Kurt. Keith’s story is one of love, a commitment to service, and the pursuit of a life well-lived.

Keith worked for Middlesex Savings Bank in Acton for many years. He then owned a successful landscaping business. Beyond his professional life, Keith enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hike and go camping. He loved to cook and listen to music. You could find him on any Sunday morning dancing around the kitchen, preparing Sunday dinner for his family and friends. As a proud member of the Acton Lions Club, he was dedicated to service. His commitment to the community was recognized in 2024 when he was honored as the Acton Lion of the Year.

Above all, Keith cherished his family and friends, and they were the heart and soul of his life. His love for his family was deep and unconditional. Surviving him are his wife, Karen, his sons Kevin and Kurt Karkane, his daughter Laura Hope-Dupuis, his son-in-law Ken Dupuis, and his brothers Eric, Todd, and James Karkane. Keith was a beloved grandfather to Landen, Gwen, and Porter Dupuis. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dona Karkane. Keith's ability to listen, draw people together, and host an awesome party are things that will be remembered by all who knew him.

Keith truly found his happiness in the people he surrounded himself with and to the service to others. He will forever be remembered for his dedication and love.
