Julia M. Cormier

ATHOL - Julia Marie Eva (DeGrace) Cormier, 80, formerly of 151 Silver Lake St., died Wednesday, January 18, 2006 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. She was born in Athol, MA on May 19, 1925, the daughter of the late Everett and the late Sophie (Delegard) DeGrace. She was employed by the L.S. Starrett Company for many years, until her retirement. She leaves one daughter; Linda A. Lyman of Athol, two sons; A. William Cormier of Athol, and John J. Cormier of Athol, one sister; Leona Ziguloski of Athol, and one brother; Napoleon DeGrace of Athol, six grandchildren and several nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred "Blackie" J. Cormier, who died in 1994. Funeral services will be held in the J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Athol on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol. Calling hours will be held Friday, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Dana Unit, 821 Daniel Shays Highway, Athol, MA 01331, or to the charity of one's choice. J.
