In Loving Memory of Joseph Lavallee
Joseph Lavallee from Gardner peacefully passed on June 13, 2026. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished Papa whose faith and love shaped the lives of everyone around him. He was the heart and rock of his family, always offering strength, wisdom, and unconditional love.
In his younger years, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his friends, embracing life with adventure. Joe loved the Lord deeply and could often be heard singing worship songs. He had a remarkable mind and could answer nearly every Jeopardy question from his favorite chair. He also loved a good game of Scrabble and always was fast to share random snapple facts. Joe had an easygoing spirit and a wonderful sense of humor that made him a joy to be around.
He loved spending time at Lake Whalom where he met his wife (Janet Lavallee), the love of his life that he stayed crazy in love with for 40 years. He was always there for his two daughters (Jessica and Jennifer) to brighten their days when they needed it. He loved being papa joe to Jennifer's children (Marshall, Eli, and Wes). In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren, Joe is survived by his brother John. Above all, Joe treasured his family. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, laughter, and love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and forever cherished.
A celebration of life will be held at Mack funeral home July 17, 2026 at 6pm.
