Jill Ann Nathanson, born on April 3, 1953 in Ware, Massachusetts, was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Known for her loving nature, Jill was a beacon of warmth and compassion to all who were blessed to know her. Her life was a beautiful testament to her enduring spirit, her passion for music, and her unwavering love for her family. Jill's love for music was infectious; she enjoyed attending concerts and shared her love of melodies and rhythms with those around her. Her hobbies, which also included collecting various items, solving crossword puzzles, and cooking, added a unique vibrancy to her life. Her life journey took her across many states, but Massachusetts always remained close to her heart.
Jill spent her professional years working as an inserter for Athol Daily News, from where she retired. She left an indelible mark not only on the newspaper industry but also in the hearts of her colleagues. Jill's life was enriched by the love and admiration of her surviving family members: her daughters Sarah Nathanson, Shelly Nathanson, and Amy Mclean; her grandsons Cody Nathanson, Aleksandr Allen, Caleb Nathanson, Kobyn Nathanson, Brooke Blanchette, and Miles Mclean; her granddaughters Lilyan Penoyer, Kaydence Mcbride, and Samantha Blanchette; and her brother, Alan Zadroga. Jill was preceded in death by her father Roman Zadroga, her mother Olive Hooker, her daughter Tracy Nathanson, her son Aaron Nathanson, and her grandchildren Joshua Therrien and Crista Leighton.
