Grace R. Conradi

Grace A. (Brown) Conradi, 82, formerly of 739 Daniel Shays Highway, Athol, died Saturday, June 28, in Quabbin Valley Nursing Home in Athol after a long illness. She was born in Newark, New Jersey, November 11, 1920, daughter of the late James and Emily (White) Brown and lived several years in Germany, Oklahoma, New Hampshire and again in New Jersey prior to moving to Athol in 1996. Her husband, Charles R. Conradi died in 1996. Mrs. Conradi was a graduate of Our Lady of the Valley High School in Newark and was a movie enthusiast. She is survived by one son; Charles "Chip" R. Conradi of Oakland, California; one daughter, Linda R. Oldach of Athol, one sister, Betty Brauer of New Jersey and six grandchildren. A sister, Patricia Sofield of New Jersey predeceased her. Her funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. The family has asked that contributions in her memory be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688 or to the American Lung Association of Massachusetts Inc., 1 Abbey Lane, Middleboro, MA 02346.
