We are saddened to share the news of the passing of a beloved mother, friend, and community member, Gloria J. Euvrard. Born on May 6, 1945, in Palmer, MA, Gloria was a radiant light who brought warmth, joy, and love to those around her. She spent her formative years in Gilbertville, attending St. Aloysius Elementary School and Hardwick High School. She earned the High School Equivalency Certificate and completed a Clerk-Typist Course in 1978. Gloria's journey took her to Athol, Massachusetts, where she made her home and where she touched countless lives with her kindness and grace. Gloria's life was a testament to her dedication and resilience. For 19 rewarding years, she served as a purchasing agent for L.S. Starrett Company, a role she carried out with diligence and pride. Her commitment to her work was recognized and appreciated by all who knew her. Despite her busy schedule, Gloria found time to serve her community in meaningful ways. As a longtime member of Our Lady Immaculate Church, she taught religious education, served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, and volunteered for Sharing Our Father's Bread's Wednesday evening community suppers. Her generous sharing of time and talent extended beyond the Church to the schools and community, where she was active in the Parent-Teacher Organization and Music Boosters, and as a volunteer at Athol Memorial Hospital. Gloria's spirit, strength, and dedication have left a lasting impression on everyone she crossed paths with. Gloria was widowed by her husband, Leon Euvrard, and is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Forte and Lena Deslauriers "Forte" Bleau, her stepfather, Charles Bleau, her brothers Richard, Robert, and Earl Forte, her sisters Alice Amerio and Donna Mitchell, and her daughter Lynne Euvrard. She is survived by her devoted children, Fr. Scott Euvrard, Jeanne LaFleur (Arthur), Craig Euvrard (Julie), Mark Euvrard, Dawne Euvrard (Gareth), and her son-in-law, Santiago Alio. Gloria took great delight in her thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and extended family, including many nieces and nephews. She was also blessed to have many good friends, including Chicky Brooks.
