Elaine M. Larochelle

WINCHENDON - Elaine M. (Brow) Larochelle, 93 of Winchendon, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

She was born in Winchendon on March 18, 1932, the daughter of Leonard and Pauline (Gendron) Brow.

Her husband of 56 years. Joseph Larochelle Jr. passed away on March 19, 2013.

She leaves three children, Glenn Larochelle and his wife Sharon; Ross Larochelle and his wife Vivian; daughter, Valerie Larochelle, six grandchildren, a niece, two nephews, one brother-in-law, David Larochelle and his wife Joanne; and a sister-in-law, Sandra Myrick.

She graduated from Murdock High School in 1950 with high honors. She was a former Notary Public, Accountant, and an Executive Secretary.

She enjoyed dancing, skating, swimming, skiing, and spending summers at their place in Lake Winnipesaukee. She was an avid reader who enjoyed life.

Funeral services will be private and at the family's convenience. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made in Elaine’s memory to Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue, 273 Central St., Winchendon, MA 01475, or to the Winchendon Fire Department, 405 Central St., Winchendon, MA 01475.

Mack Family Funeral Home, Gardner Chapel, 105 Central St., Gardner, is directing arrangements.
