With a heart that was as vast as his intellect, Curtis Emma departed from this world unexpectedly on November 1, 2025. Born on November 30, 1989, in Leominster, MA. Curtis’s life was a testament to unyielding compassion and ceaseless love for his family and work. His life, though cut short, was resonant with the richness of his relationships and the depth of his passion for his chosen profession.
Brimming with intelligence, Curtis proved his mettle early on by graduating as Valedictorian from Narragansett High School. His inherent talents and dedicated efforts paved the way for his pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UMASS in 2012. Curtis dedicated his life to the noble vocation of Chemist in the pharmaceutical industry. He was employed by Veranova at the time of his passing. His contributions to his field were significant, reflecting his commitment to improving life through science.
Curtis was a loving son to his parents, Joseph and Leonie Emma, and a caring brother to Tyler Emma. He had a passion for music, movies and was a big Celtics fan. He had a large collection of vintage albums. He also enjoyed gaming. He loved animals and had a voracious appetite for reading. His love for learning never ceased. He was always researching new subjects and was a vast source of information. Curtis's bright spirit, and the warmth of his presence, will be deeply missed but remembered fondly by all those who had the privilege to know him. He was predeceased by his grandparents Richard and Beverly Hancock, and Alphonse Maillet. He leaves behind his parents Leonie and Joseph, his brother Tyler and wife Ashley, along with his grandmother, Rita Maillet.
A celebration of Life will be held on November 15th at 11AM at the PACC in Gardner.
