Christina Mary Kaeding, known affectionately as Chris Mary, was a beacon of compassion and generosity, whose creative spirit brought warmth and joy to those around her. Born on December 22, 1946, in Michigan City, IN, Chris Mary lived a vibrant life defined by love, creativity, and an unwavering dedication to her family. She passed away on September 2, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and an indelible impact on the hearts of those who knew her.

Christina resided in Athol, Massachusetts, but was formerly of Framingham, MA. Her love for crafts was more than a hobby. It was a testament to her creativity, her eye for beauty, and her generous spirit. Her creations were tokens of love, thoughtfully crafted and gifted to friends, family, and those in her community. To Christina, nothing mattered more than her brother (affectionately called "big brother") Kevin Kaeding. Their bond was one of mutual respect, love, and admiration. Christina's generous nature, her compassionate heart, and her loving spirit were the pillars of their relationship.

Chris Mary was not employed, but she was never idle. Her days were filled with creativity, love, and acts of kindness that made her an integral part of her community. Christina was never married, but she experienced profound love in her lifetime. She was greeted in Heaven by many loved ones, including her parents, Robert and Irene Kaeding, her boyfriend, Brian, her best friend, Joanne, and her beloved cat, Susie. She leaves behind her brother, Kevin Kaeding, her nephew, also named Kevin, his wife Lindsay and their son Kevin.

Chris Mary's life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and creativity. Her memory lives on in the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the beautiful crafts she left behind. We invite you to celebrate Christina's life by sharing memories and uploading photos to her memorial page. In this way, we can keep her spirit alive and remember the love and joy she brought into our lives.  In her memory, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
