Chester H. Maxim

GARDNER - Chester H. Maxim, Jr., 67 of 175 Woodlawn Ave., Gardner, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner. He was born in Farmington, Maine, on July 20, 1953.Chester grew up in Gardner.  He worked at Papa Gino’s for 25 years and was a member of the Massachusetts National Guard for 26 years. He leaves his mother, Ruby (Frost) Gonyeo; his wife of 45 years, Marie A. (Greenough) Maxim; two daughters, Ruby Taylor of Water Valley, Mississippi, MaLinda Maxim of Gardner; one son, Chester H. Maxim III and his wife Rolanda of Gardner; and five grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon. There are no calling hours.
