Cheryl Testa

Gardner, formerly of Ashburnham- Cheryl (Brown) "Shell" Testa, 62, died Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Heywood Hospital after an illness. She was the wife of the late Wesley Shell who died in 1988 and Charles Testa who died in 2016. She leaves one brother, Wayne Brown of Baldwinville; one sister-in-law, Stacie Brown of Gardner; five nephews, Wayne Brown Jr. Justin Brown, Stephen Brown III, Trevor Brown and Camden Brown and her lifelong friend Susan Quinn of Townsend. She also leaves her favorite aunt, Suzie Matesowicz of Traverse City Michigan as well as her good friend and loving caretaker, Therese Allain of Gardner. Cheryl is predeceased by a brother, Stephen Brown, Jr who died in 2017. She was born in Groton on April 4, 1959 a daughter of the late Stephen W. Brown, Sr and Katherine (Matesowicz) Brown. She graduated from North Middlesex Regional High School, class of 1977 in Townsend. Cheryl worked for the Ayer District Court for many years as an office manager. She enjoyed going to the Gardner Museum's annual Christmas Tree Show, traveling, especially going to Florida, camping, playing Keno and going to the casino. She had a very special love for her pets and all animals. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
