Carolyn "Sally" LaBonte

Carolyn "Sally" A. (Kasper) LaBonte, born on November 15, 1937, in Templeton, was an individual whose life was marked by loving kindness, thoughtful gestures, and a generous spirit. Her life was a vibrant tapestry of shared moments, warm laughter, and unforgettable memories. Sally filled the lives of those around her with a sense of joy and contentment that will continue to resonate long after her passing on December 6, 2025. 

A woman of many talents, Sally had a knack for crafts, ceramics, and cooking, with a particular fondness for keeping her bread and butter pickles recipe a secret. What mattered most to her was spending time with her family. Sally created countless memories hosting an annual Fourth of July party for over 25 years. She enjoyed playing with the kids on the beach. She was a beacon of supportive love, her presence a comforting embrace that her loved ones will dearly miss. 

She leaves behind her husband, Richard LaBonte; her sons, Steven LaBonte and his wife Joyce, Robert LaBonte, Richard LaBonte and his wife Susan; grandchild, Jeffrey LaBonte and his significant other, Heather Pope; niece, Debbie Manning and her husband Neil; and her sister-in-law, Janet Kasper. 

She was pre-deceased by her brother, Dr. George Kasper, and nephew, Dr. David Kasper.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm in the Mack Family Funeral Homes, Gardner - Chapel, 105 Central Street, Gardner. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm in the funeral home. 

There will be a reception to share memories at the PACC in Gardner following the services.
