It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brent Robert Adams, a man of strength, resilience, and unyielding love for his family and friends. Born on September 7th, 1957, in Athol, Massachusetts, Brent spent his entire life in the town he loved.
Brent worked for many years as a truck driver for Girardi Distributors. He was a hunter, loved to fish, and often went to Plum Island for deep-sea fishing trips. He found solace in the serenity of nature and loved the ocean, especially Old Orchard Beach. He was also a talented drummer, and in his younger years played in a band with his friends. His love for animals was evident in the way he cared for his pets - they were not just animals to him; they were family.
Brent's love for his community was evident in his active membership at the South Athol Church. His faith was strong, and he found great comfort and fellowship within the church's walls. He leaves behind a loving family who cherished him: his son, Ryan Adams; his sisters, Holly Cetto and Melanie Adams; his brother, Clayton Adams; his nieces, Shawnna (Brian), Ashton (Chris), and Erica; his nephew, Ian; and his grandchildren Thomas, Mary Lu, and Rylene. He leaves great-niece and nephews: Owen, Allie, Cam, Wes, Henry, Derek, and Khaelyn. Brent was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elaine Adams.
Brent's spirit will continue to resonate within our hearts. His laughter, his stories, and his love for life will forever be a part of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
