Beverly A. Macauley

Beverly Ann Macauley, born January 29, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts, was a beacon of love and vivacity, whose life journey came to a peaceful close on August 10, 2026. Her light continues to illuminate the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Beverly was a creative spirit, a trait that was most evident in her approach to teaching hearing-impaired children. She had a knack for finding innovative ways to connect with her students, making learning an exciting adventure rather than a chore. As Margaret Mead once said, "Children must be taught how to think, not what to think," and Beverly lived this philosophy.

Beverly was a loving wife and mother, marrying the love of her life, William Macauley on December 28, 1968. Their bond was apparent in the joy they found in simple pleasures, like camping with their grandchildren or visiting Disney World. Beverly's love extended beyond her immediate family; she also cherished her "granddogs," Dixxie, Beau, Cali, Delilah, and Rex. Reliable and generous, Beverly opened her heart and home to all, creating an environment where everyone felt welcomed and loved. As Maya Angelou said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Beverly made everyone feel special.

Beverly leaves behind a beautiful legacy in her husband, William Macauley, and their children: Jill Vento and son-in-law, Paul, William Jr., and daughter-in-law, Kathleen, Rachelle, and Scott Macauley. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren: Matthew, Collin, Justin, Kyle, and Sarah; and her great-grandchildren: Colleen, Sean, Erin, Keira, and Rory Walsh. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanislaw and Gladys Staskywicz. Beverly's life was a testament to the power of love, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
