Barbara Lawrence, October 15, 1931 – August 23, 2025Barbara Lawrence, 93, of Gardner and surrounding towns, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, at Health Alliance in Baldwinville, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Leominster on October 15, 1931, Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Jack Lawrence. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and community. Barbara was the proud mother of Rhonda Wyman, Vicki Ringer, Christopher Phillips, and John Phillips. She was predeceased by her daughters, Sharon Streeter and Lori Swedberg, and her first husband, Norman Phillips. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life. Barbara’s greatest joys came from time spent with her family. She loved music, family gatherings, and late nights of laughter over games and card playing. A woman of strong Catholic faith, she was a longtime member of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Westminster. Barbara will be remembered for her warmth, devotion, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her legacy lives on in the love of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Westminster, with burial to follow at Woodside Cemetery.
