Westminster

Anne Elizabeth McLaughlin, known fondly as Anne to those who loved her, embarked on her eternal journey on July 14, 2026.

Born on August 27, 1940, in Arlington, MA, she was a beacon of compassion and empathy in the lives of those fortunate to know her. Anne's vibrant spirit and love for her family were the guiding lights of her remarkable life journey.

Anne was a woman of profound grace and quiet strength. Her radiant smile and kind heart illuminated the lives of many. She was educated in Arlington schools and furthered her knowledge at Secretary School in Boston before dedicating her life to the most noble of professions: being a homemaker. Her home in Westminster was a haven of warmth, love, and hospitality. Anne’s artistic talents were evident in her love for painting, ceramics, and art. Her creations were not just aesthetically pleasing but carried a piece of her soul, reflecting her deep love for beauty and life.

Anne leaves her children, Christopher McLaughlin, David McLaughlin, and Donna McLaughlin, all of Westminster, and Joan Miller of Marlboro.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Donald McLaughlin, and by her parents, Chester and Mary Phettplaces.

Anne left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she met. Her life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and resilience. As we celebrate her journey on earth, we invite all who knew and loved Anne to share their memories and photos on her memorial page at www.mackfamilyfh.com.
