Amelia A. Petrosky

Amelia "Millie" A. (Azublas) Petrosky, 87, of 263 Hapgood St., Athol, died Friday at home after an illness. She was born in Athol April 2, 1916, daughter of Charles and Pauline (Matulis) Azublas and lived here most of her life. As a child, she lived several years in Lithuania but returned to Athol with her family when she was a teenager. Millie was employed with the L.S. Starrett Co. of Athol for 35 years retiring in 1982. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Athol and enjoyed gardening, baking and entertaining. She is survived by one son, Ronald J. Petrosky of Spring Valley, California, one daughter, Joan A. Mork of Tucson, Arizona, two grandsons, Douglas Petrosky of San Diego, California and James Petrosky of North Carolina, four great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Her funeral will be held Tuesday from J. EDWARD MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 137 Main St., Athol, with a Funeral Mass in St. Francis Church, Athol at 11AM. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol.
