In Loving Memory of Amanda (Wrigley) Stone, May 16, 1991 – December 26, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved daughter, Amanda (Wrigley) Stone, on December 26, 2025, at the age of 34. Though her time with us was far too short, she brought joy, warmth, and a quiet magic into every life she touched.
Born on May 16, 1991, in Worcester, MA, Amanda grew up enjoying the company of all kinds of family pets, learning early the joy and companionship animals bring. She shared her life with her cherished cats and always had a soft spot for dogs. Her quiet moments with her cats were often when she would reach out to family and friends, checking in to see how they were and whether they needed anything, quietly extending her care and attention to everyone she loved.
Amanda had a lifelong love of Harry Potter, delighting in the stories, the characters, and the magic of that world. Her love of magic was never just about fantasy—it was about seeing wonder in everyday life, a perspective she shared generously with friends and family.
Her warmth and wry sense of humor were unmistakable. She celebrated life in everyday moments: rescuing animals in need, curling up with her cats, or making someone laugh with a perfectly timed quip. She had a way of making people feel seen and lightening any room she entered.
She is survived by her loving parents, Scott and Karen Wrigley; her brother Mathew Wrigley, his wife Dana, and their two children; her husband, William F. Stone Jr.; and a wide circle of friends who will always carry her memory in their hearts. Though she is gone, her spirit endures in the animals she loved, the stories she treasured, and the countless laughs and smiles she shared.
A celebration of Amanda’s life will be held at First Congregational Church, 138 Main St, Westminster, MA, on Saturday, April 4, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to MSPCA or your preferred charity honoring her compassion for animals and her desire to make the world a brighter place.
Amanda, you were our joy, our heart, and your laughter, warmth, and quiet magic will remain with us forever.
