LEOMINSTER- Theresa H. (Lavallee) Infantino, 85, of Hudson, formerly of Leominster, died Monday, May 22, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Theresa was born December 16, 1931, in Williston, Vermont, daughter of the late Arthur and Azilda (Roux) Lavallee. She graduated from St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School in 1949. Although primarily at home raising her children, Mrs. Infantino worked as a waitress at the former Robinson's Fish and Chips, was a proof reader at the Sentinel and Enterprise, and was a cafeteria worker at the former Julie Country Day School. She led a very active life with music often being at the center. She sang with the Burgundy's and played piano for many years for St. Joseph Parish Variety Shows. She also played accordion with the Sunny Siders and loved to go dancing with her late husband. She was very active with St. Cecilia's Bingo. As an avid card player, she was active at the Leominster Senior Center where she organized a whist league, and the Leominster Franco American Club, where she organized cribbage leagues. Her husband of 53 years, Charles Infantino, died in 2004. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Margaret Infantino, eight brothers, Gerard, Albert, Conrad, Paul, Andrew, Charles, John, and Herman Lavallee, and by three sisters, Rose Bardier, Lillian Sears, and Dorothy Hanley. She leaves two sons, Michael Infantino, and Steven Infantino and his wife, Lauren, all of Leominster; three daughters, Margaret Flory of Rutland, VT, Catherine Infantino of Derry, NH, and Donna Burkhart and her husband, David, with whom she lived. She was Memere to 15 grandchildren, Jason Infantino, Dawn Marie Girard, Matthew Infantino, Sarah and Shanna Infantino, Michael, Greg, and Mark Flory, Christopher Morton, Michelle McKenna, Calyssa Infantino, Mellissa Bates, Julia, Dustin, and Dalton Burkhart; 14 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Friday, May 26, at 10:00 A. M. in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, May 25, from 4:00 to 7:00 P. M. in Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leominster Colonial Band, c/o John DeCicco, 193 N.
