Raymond L Bean

August 19, 1953 - January 25, 2022

GARDNER- Raymond L. Bean, 68, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at home. Raymond was born in Gardner on August 19, 1953, son of the late Eugene L. and Doris L. (Sears) Bean. He served in the United States Army from 1976-2000. He was a chef and also worked at a papermill. He was a member of the Acadien Club and the VFW Pool league and enjoyed playing pool, walks, Native American history, model cars, ships, puzzles and loved Mustangs. Raymond is survived by his daughter Malissa Pratt and her husband Robert as well as his brother Glen Bean, his sisters; many nieces and nephews and grandson Austin Bean. Raymond's funeral service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 2:00pm, Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central Street, Gardner. Burial to follow at the Massachusetts Veterans' Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00pm, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations to help offset the cost of the funeral may be sent to Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
