Phyllis Belle Reheuser

Phyllis Belle Reheuser, age 93, of Gardner died Monday, August 14, 2017 at Clinton Hospital of Clinton, MA. Mrs. Reheuser was born June 14, 1924 in Framingham, MA. She is the daughter of the late Clarence and the late Esther (Dunham) Mercer. Phyllis grew up in Framingham and lived in Plymouth for many years. She worked in retail for Robert Hall, Gilchrist and Plymouth Plantation. She was a member of the Gardner Baptist Church on Broadway. Phyllis enjoyed quilting and ceramics. She loved the beach, especially Plymouth Beach. Phyllis leaves her son, Carl Dow and his wife Gloria, her son, James Dow and his wife Janis, and her daughter, Carolyn Maguire Gordon and her husband David; seven grandchildren: Susan Schoorens, Paul Dow, Andrea Norton, Peter Dow, Michael Dow, Janeen Dumas, Peter Maguire; fourteen great grandchildren; one brother: David Mercer of Rochester, NH; one sister: Ruth Dusseault of Thompson, CT; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Carl Dow in 1966; her brother Atwell Mercer and her sister Marie Boese. She is survived by her husband: George Reheuser. Services will be kept private.
