Orange-Penny Lee (Tubman) Zartman, 72 died at UMass Medical Center in Worcester on Monday, June 7, 2021 after an illness. She leaves her husband Terry Lee Zartman; three children, Duane Edward Zartman of Waterville, ME, Robert Paul Zartman of Winchendon and Megan Louise Burch of Orange; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-children; six step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Kenneth Lord Tubman, II of FL, Steven Tubman of Middleboro and Kevin Tubman; two sisters, Kathleen Ducasse of Middleboro and Cindy Jean Woodman of VT and many nieces and nephews. Penny was born in Middleboro on March 16, 1949, a daughter of the late Kenneth Lord and Jean Marie (Willis) Tubman. She worked for the Fernald School as a manager and bookkeeper for 27 years. She also worked for H & R Block for several years preparing taxes. Penny enjoyed camping, fishing and was a very talented craftsperson, who could make anything. Her greatest joy came from her family. A private memorial service will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon at the convenience of the family.
