Helvi M St. Cyr

ASHBURNHAM – Helmi M. (Johnson) St. Cyr formerly of Ashburnham passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Born in Hubbardston on August 9, 1926, daughter of John W. & Tynne M. (Nemi) Johnson, Helmi was educated in Hubbardston schools, and graduated in 1945 from Athol High School. She worked for over thirty years in the housekeeping department at the former Westminster Village Inn and retired in 1994 as Executive Housekeeper. Her husband of forty-seven years, John St. Cyr died in 1995. Helmi leaves two sons; John St. Cyr Jr. and his wife Adrienne of Dudley, MA, and David St. Cyr of Gardner. Step-son; Daniel St. Cyr of Fitchburg. Four daughters; Christine Guptill and her husband Arthur of Rindge, New Hampshire, Carol St. Cyr of Gardner, Martha Olson of Lebec, CA, Susan Leblanc of Gardner, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Helmi was predeceased by five sisters; Eva Johnson, Anne Johnson, Lillian Johnson, Tyyne Johnson and Toini Dauphinais. There are no funeral services.
